not bad considering James Franco has to carry 90% of the movie on his own with minimal dialogue & most ppl dont like to sit thru these types of movies but you just have to watch it & put yourself in that position & ask yourself if youd survive 4/5
**f totally not what i expected i had to skip through most of the parts. it has got to be one of the most messed up things i have ever seen especially what happens at the end its so nasty. and i just need to say that i will never judge a person with one arm ever again.
i liked this film, its very realistic and it did make me think alot of what i am doing in my life because i am doing so many things just like he did. I love going alone to isolated palces all over the world, but i never thought of this possibility before, and i never ever came close to his experience, BUT i will think twice now :)
Spoiler Alert!!! - They miss one little detail at the end, the raven that keeps flying over him in the beginning was found dead in the puddle where he drink from. Ravens were a sign of bad omen this means he escaped death.
anyone could have been trapped like him, but not everyone could have survived his situation...one never knows if they have that will to "live" until they too are in a life or death situation....much respect to Aron Ralston
I loved this film it was amazing and i think Danny Boyle did an amazing job, for the people who dont think its gross enough or there isnt enough blood go and watch a zombie movie this is a true story did you want him to eat his own arm off would that be gross enough..jeez..anyway 5/5 from me
For anyone to say this movie is a waste of time or disappointing cuz they expected more because of the trailers, or is let down because it wasn't "grotesque" enough, needs to grow up! That's not what this movie is about, it's not fiction! Maybe they should just sit on their lazy behinds and "wing" it on their couch the rest of their life so that nothing bad happens to make them realize how stupid and heartless their comments are! Does the movie have faults? Yes! But who cares? The triumph of the human spirit and the will to live are the only important thing. I pray that Aron Ralston never reads some of these comments! 9/10
127 Hours, the movie Ive been waiting to watch since mid December.
Perhaps its just me being a woman, they do say were always winging. Never the less I must stipulate here my thoughts on this movie.
127 Hours, great movie but not fantastic like the way the trailors and advertisements promote it as. It was sone on the cheap, almost in 1 location in 1 place all throughout the movie... a little like ''Phonebooth'' just with a different twist.
I listened to a interview with the movie producer on Top Gear and during the interview the part where he hacks his arm off was brought up, the producer talked about it like it was heavily disturbing, distressful and terrifyingly gruesome...
I must say, I was so worked up at this point in the movie.. I prepared myself for the grotesqueity of it all to be let down profusely. I was expecing horror, chill, a rush of adrenaline anything but dissapointment...
Ahhhhh, life and its suprises eh? Or I could be just a winging 25 year old woman ha ha ha...
Either way watch the movie, its good just not great
