for all those that said this movie was boring.....you are 100% correct. i got 45mins into it and that was all i would take. acting was blah, without emotion from any actors. with all the 'great' actors, seemed like a rip off, to fake out the public that this is actually worth watching. don't waste your time, so many better movies here to enjoy.
well well, I've read the reviews and some of you over special opinionated gumps should keep that other bull shit 2 ya selves...Over all, I think it was a decent movie. Wasn't prolonged, everything happened pretty fast to keep the story moving. Wasn't a bad movie. Would recommend
i logged on to read the comments before deciding if i'd watch the film only to find that a couple of columbine kids have run out of ritalin and decided to try and bully anyone who doesn't believe in their conspiracy theories, just shows what happens when inbreeding goes a generation too far, if your government were really going to do something like this then they should have started with sterilising your grandparents, even better, they could have sterilised GWB's grandparents then we could all have had peace and quiet this last twenty odd years, at least clinton only wanted to show interns his dick, GB and GWB insisted on showing everyone how big their balls were !

Great movie really interesting! they did a great job on this one :) imagine if that actually happened :o a disease taking over the world!! really good movie i recommend for everyone to watch this!
God!!! what a waste of time.... I waited for this film so long I even planed to watch it in theater for Matt Damon and Kate Winslet, dead boring movie and the issue has potential but is told in such a boring way...... 1/5
To all the people spouting out about the Gov.,vaccines,etc., its just a movie for crying out loud!!! Just comment on it if u like it or not. Nobody wants to hear your effing theories on the Gov. or vaccines! The movie was alright. The ending could have been better. 3/5 for me...;)
A good movie over all. With such a star studded cast I exspected more. But Jude Law's Performance was by far, what kept my attention. I thought Matt Damon's was very dry. But all in all very interesting story line that make's you think. Word of advise; DON'T Believe the HIPE. all that Gov. cover up BS. Ppl watch to many MOVIE's.
Nice movie 4/5. Most of the comments here give this movie negative ratings because of the fact that "Contagion" was much more informative and informational than it was entertaining. I loved it though - party because I love a lot of movies and informational/informative TV shows :) Oh, video quality was very nice! 4/5 on video quality Ah, wait to the end, that is when you can see how the virus came about and spread to the first victim. It is VERY interesting.

As for the film, hard to notice next to the blatant government propaganda, but I would say the ‘shock and awe’ fear mongering was well executed.. but after talking to my doctor about these chemicals etc, he told me straight that yes they are very harmful to humans and can even kill us!

You really must learn your history. Without vaccines more people die. I am from Africa I see people die from diseases that most other countries. I was one of the lucky ones to be vaccinated 6 of my brothers and sisters died because my parents could not afford their vaccinations. You will most likely see old age others will not. This film could have been one of the greats. It's almost as though there was a lot more footage shot, however, at the last moment someone edited the best and most important footage out of the movie to make it softer. This had the chance to be a wake-up call, but ended up being the snooze alarm. If you think this film was propaganda, I suggest you read "The Great Influenza - The true story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History 1918-1920" by John M Berry. Between 1918 and 1920 upwards of 100 Million people died world-wide. The world Population in 1918 was slightly under 2 Billion. That means, that just over 1 in every 20 people on earth DIED. I still remember the stories my grandparents told us about that time. Absolutely chilling. At the time, Air travel was not widely used as it is today. With the swift transmission of the same virus in today's world, and considering the immense population density, we could easily see 2 Billion people infected within a month. No cure was ever found for that flu pandemic either. It simply vanished as quickly as it had started. Probably, because people shut themselves up in their homes for months on end. Reducing transmission to the extent that the virus could no longer propagate. Be ready folks. There is nothing wrong with being prepared. This movie with all it's infected numbers in the millions, all over the world never achieved the feat of making the viewer believe it. They just spit out numbers and showed a few graphs to scare you but never showed the mass populations that you can see and feel. The good point....(spoiler) I sure wish CNN really did investigative journalism like in this movie tho. Our media wouldn't be such a joke if they searched for truth like in this movie. Other than that it was a good start with a seriously lackluster ending.
This movie was actually better then I thought it would be, the copy was a bit horrid and I may watch it again in about a week or so to see if there is a better one. All of them lose sound at about 51 minutes into the movie - not sure why.
I appreciate the free movies and all but gesh like really the person taping this didn't realize the angle is off then the audio is gone for like 10 mins. ughhh
That's the one I watched and not having any sound or low sound quality detracted from the film. So it's ok. Probably a whole let better in DVD quality.
halfway thru the movie all of a sudden you are watching it from between 2 seats and half the screen is missing. Very bad audio also, but the fact that half the screen is behind the seats makes the audio issue moot. Wait for some =one to make a proper copy, this is awful and the movie looks pretty decent.
FRIGGIN TERRIBLE....good movie but the jerk yes i say jerk, keeps moving the camera into a worse angle and doesnt bother moving it back....seriously if your gonna pirate a movie do it right....other than great movie bad camera guy...and 4 minutes of sound is missing 50.00-54.00minutes
From min. 0.50 to 0.54 vidreel there's no audio, other then that it's ok copy.Movie is recorded from the third row and picture is not so great but you can watch it.
