I liked this movie but in some parts it was a bit creepy I give this move a 7/10 and thats a good thing lol.Those little things gave me nightmares too lol just saying.
this movie was terrible. the acting was blah and the script was hardly believable. this little girl who now resides with her father, at bedtime, he doesn't even say he loves her? just couldn't relate at all to the charactors. and to top it off >[spoiler] at the end sweet little katie holmes gets taken down the hole, and shes gone?? thats it no search no body recovery..lollll, totally ridiculous! [spoiler]< check it out if you like, but sleep will do you more good..lol...1/5
I enjoyed this movie from the begining to the end. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole movie. Don't really care for bloody or just gross out horror movies so this I loved watching this one. Rate 4/5.... Must watch
I saw this movie before somewhere else late at night and yes it did creep me out but the actors in this movie did a great job. I think it would be cool if they made a second movie it's just an idea form a viewer who loves all movies.
I didnt find this movie scary it was just really silly, the little girls acting was better than Katie Holmes' she is just so dull and boring maybe if it was someone else playing that part I might have found it tolerable... I also think that Guy wasted himself being in this rubbish...money must be tight...some people found this movie good so I'd say give it a go everyones taste is different, It just wasn't for me
While at the library, when the librarian was explaining the story of the creatures to Kim, he mentioned how they needed to replenish their numbers. So...when they killed Kim...she became one of them. That is why you hear her voice among them at the end.
I have to say i went to see this in theaters and it made me jump a couple times. Katie Holmes was actually pretty good and the little girl did a great job. Agreeing with the person who commented about watching it in the dark, much better that way.
It better if you watch at night. I think it was decent. The movie was kind of dark (hard to see at times). I don't know if that's the way it suppose to be or if the quality is off a bit. I would suggest watch it.
Don't listen to all these people babble on about how horrible katie holmes is because they still ended up watching it but i guess that proves that beggars cant be choosers..

people who say this movie is not scary is because its part of their meditation in relieving themselves so they can sleep like a baby , please do not post ur meditation here , i know u like to be brave so the seizure effects wear's off quickly but please dont do it in a place where people comment about the movie , we just want to know is it like scream ? or candy man , we need specific great comments only writers or real fans of horror , scarey movies can do this , oman , im drinking coffee in starbucks and i still feel that the lights will go out soon
I couldn't have found this movie scary even if I tried... Al lI could see was the (all too obvious) CGI.. like watching a clumsy puppet show.. VERY hard to buy into the characters unless you find the scary thing convincing. Like the foam rubber shark in Jaws, just a little too obviously fake for me to be scared.. sorry..
Ugh.. can't stand Katie Holmes.. ick. Always just looks like BAD unconvincing acting. Can't get into the plot at all. I didn't find it scary. Pretty yukky gore bits, but then I hate watching gore.. Just looks pointless and unnecessary to me. Whateva.. Little girl kid didn't help either. Too 'cute' for my liking.. I suppose they spent a few quid on this movie, but its not scary. Might give you the creeps if you have a mouse infestation tho.. who knows? Whateva.. like I care.. another very average bland movie.. but Katie Holmes.. YUK.. that part was difficult to watch.. stick to your scientology love.. give us a break..
You must not realize, that wasn't really gore.. And it being pointless and unnecessary, you're wrong. How 'bout you stick a knife into someone and tell me if they don't bleed. For the story it was actually necessary.It needs to look real. If you don't like how it looks, red a book instead of watching movies. They are supposed to look real. Granted there was cgi, but doesn't change the fact that it's a movie. People watch movies 'cause they want to be entertained.
Finally a Great movie, 4* for me To Hapenny, the retarded one is yourself who left a comment about a comment and NOT about a movie, sins you are so a disrespectfully SOB against other people in many of your posts, use any come and sense and go to hell where you belong. :-)
This movie reminded me of that other movie, with the lil slave dolls coming to live and trying to kill masta. funniest shit ever. I think it was 'tales from the hood' , or something like that. dang! now i have to find the name of that movie so i can watch it.

SPOILER ALERT...That was her talking to them at the end right? It sounded like Katie, and she says "dont worry there will be more, we have all the time in the world". So what the hell did that mean? If she was with them the whole time, then who was she and why did she help the kid and do the research? I dont get it. Aside from Guy Pearce character being completely useless, especially how he doesnt go after her in the end. Id say its an entertaining somewhat freaky movie.
I really enjoyed this movie, I don't understand why it has such a low rating. Katie Holmes and Guy Pierce did an excellent job with the acting, story well written. On XTSHARE the Audio 4/5 Video 3.5/5 (a little dark during the dark scenes). Overall I give the movie a 4/5 Rating!! Enjoy!!
OMG this movie really scared me to death!!! excellent...this was my first time seeing this movie, I never saw the original and thank goodness I didn't see the original. I know one thing is for sure---I'm sleeping with the lights on!!!!
