... Because the first time I saw it I fell asleep. It was not what I expecting, neither was what my bf expected either at the time. Watch in a totally different spirit and thought it was rather a beauty. I'm not a fan of love stories but this one is cute because they don't talk. Awesome footage. Great line in the story. Good end. Not an action movie! 7/10.
You people who r talking smack about this movie, must just love those action fast and furious type films....this movie was excellent, a total, complete story, and the acting was great. And there was a lot of driving also, just not the stuff you "kids" were looking for, like someone else stated, this is a grown ups movie.
One of the best movie I've seen in 2011. This isn't an "action packed teenager movie", it's a grown up film, so all you "action packed teenager movie" fans, please stop complaining, DO NOT watch the movie as it hasn't been made for you, obviously!
When a movie`s title is drive you`d expect to see some driving not in this film lead actor was a let down boring boring the story did`nt amount to much either it was that bad it did`nt even have an ending the only thing that I got from this movie was that the violence was good now thats something you would`nt be looking to take from a movie.
Ryan Gosling is coming into his own, the guy has got something special - anyone that can walk though an entire film of this magnitude - deserves kudos - slow burn, climax campy and contrived - the music stole the films sunlight - fine support cast - Ron Perlman can do no wrong. Carey Mulligan - please pick a script that shows off your talents - money isn't everything - girls got skills, just have not seen them yet - stellar
Loved Loved Loved this movie! it was really good and had a great storyline to it :) although there was not too much talking in it, it was still really interesting!! as a bonus it had a great soundtrack ;)
I really enjoyed this. I like the Gosling character,quiet,brooding,unassuming. IMHO,it's better than Fast/Furious but not quite up to Transporter movies. Anyway,you must watch,3.5/5
ok i no some ppl come into this movie thinking its another fast and furious type but this movie was made for 13 million dollars and in this day in age of 100 200 300 mil movies you have to no goin into this that its not gonna have tonnes of special affects and such and its more about the characters than driving fast cars and that bein said its a pretty dang good movie again for what it is ;o)
My God this was such a beautiful movie ....I mean the soundtrack the scenes ..... First a thought it's made ouf ot that video game driver but soon realized it wasn't about action and killing .... This art , a little action but real drama and ...I don't know how but there is that feeling that you get while watching it that you can't explain ....that reached for my heart and touched it and the song Real hero real human being ...it makes you wanna cry ....... 10/10 people who didn't understand what kind of the movie it was and what genre it was will give a bad grade ...but this is ..... something I will keep in my memory forever ......
I loved this film it took me by surprise, I did not have any expectations, and therefore viewed it thus... and it totally gripped me. I loved the pace of the film too. Yes he liked cars, speed, danger and all those good things, but for the record the film is called Drive not Driving. The main character development was just momentous, this really stirred up the emotions. Also, those saying lack of speech from the main character, well I say talking is for girls, I like my men silent and dangerous. :)

I knew this movie was going to suck.. though it was worst than I thought it would be. I was actually getting excited for the Nascar race or whatever BUT NOOOO just people staring at each other and stabbing.. Anyways. Back to Fast and Furious~
The movie is okay, the character development takes too long and there really isn't much to the main character other than he doesn't talk a lot. This film kind of reminds me of a bad independent film where they are more concerned with the idea they are trying to get across than the actual story line of the movie. The movie is okay at best, but the name shouldn't have been "Drive" this movie had very little to do with driving.
First of all, those who say that the movie having awkwardness moments for being slow at speech, are high on something. This is called acting ppl, and that's the way Mr Ryan is, that is way every movie he makes turns out gold. The movie was super good, nice twists a love story and decent action, what else can you ask for? btw the actress is sooooo beautiful, I fell in love with her/cheers 10/10
must say I was expecting more from this film. I did enjoy it once I got past the first half of the movie. The first half was kind of boring. I also didn't like how he didn't speak through alot of this movie. 3/5 was still enjoyable but could have been so much better
Loved this movie. However, my husband felt the first half of the movie was boring...he liked the second half. I can understand people not liking it because it takes so long to get to the guts of the film. However, I just really enjoyed how it slowly takes shape and you find out nothing is at it seems. I just like the way the character builds and how you are fooled into thinking Driver is just this quiet, mellow character, and BAM, you find out he is nothing like you perceived him to be.
i was expecting a different style but this had its own charm to it. over all; i liked how unique the main character was compared to lead roles in action flicks that are being released now. its good to see something different as this every now and again. 9/10 DVD quality by the way :)
I liked this movie alot, don't be expecting loads of action as it's more about building characters and a love story. Very stylish I thought. xtshare is dvd quality too.
For one, Ryan Gosling did a good job in it but there was way too much awkward silence parts..like he hardly even talked throughout the whole movie..there was some good parts and some other not so much needed parts too, but overall it was okay. 2.5/5
If I had went to a theater to see this movie I would of wanted my money back. A lot of awkward silence. It had some good moments. I thought it was going to be better. The quality of the movie on here is good.
Excellent movie. Highly recommend. It's not the role I would expect from Ryan G. but he pulled it off well. dvd quality on XTSHARE. 5/5 rating from me.
Movie was pretty good 4/5. Your average person would think its slow-paced and awkward, but it has its own style to it. Bottom line, you aren't wasting your time here.
I tray tree deference players and non of then show the movie, I waited about 20 minutes on each player the movie never started , It may be because am the first one trying to wash the movie.Ho ever is loading it shut check the movie to make sure is working.
