42-year-old Michael needs a change in his life, so when he hears about clinical trials for a new anti-depressant, he signs up to be a guinea pig - without telling his family. This movie does not deserve the Thriller genre tag AT ALL! It is a straight up drama and that is it. The producers are trying to make this incredibly profound film but the protagonist is such a whack job, it just fails to stick. I got suckered on the high rating and failed to see there was only one vote. If you have problems believing that your wife and children are precious then I suppose you could get some sort of sick twisted message from this movie -- otherwise, if you're normal, don't even bother.
