I think that the movie was good. The beginning was quite boring but it got way better throughout it. Truly i think the best actors of the movie is the twin boys. Not only was their story touching, they put a lot of talent into their role. The story of the twin boys made me cry, esp the final reading. You should watch this movie!! :)
So intense...I loved this movie!!! Very sentimental at times I almost cried. Eastwood has really done it for me. Great cast and loved the settings. Would recommend that you see it. 10/10
Wonderful movie! Although some thought it to be slow and I can understand why but at the same time I believe this to be a necessary element in order to get a true understanding of all characters involved. This is definitely worth atleast one watch. 4/5
I downloaded the adobe flash player, and it seems like unless it's from megavideo the player just keeps buffering and buffering... and buffering and I have been waiting forever to see this movie. I love me some Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon. I have trouble with all the players except megavideo. Is it just me?
This ws a great movie, I don't think anyone will be disappointed. Matt Damon is great as usual, story line kept you interested especially if you are into movies like this. I'm glad I watched it.
The movie was good but there was something missing in the plot and it turned out to be just another boy meets girl. It should have went deeper into the subject of the protagonists' new found super natural power. Instead, it ended with an anti-climatic ending making the audience feel cheated.
I have one question:Is he about to become one of the greatest director?? I mean this last few years, Eastwood has just made masterpiece and chefdoeuvre!! At first I didn't like the topic of this movie, but it was great, great cast defrance and damon did an outstanding performance, and the movie keepyou in til the end!! 4.5/5
Clint is a master at making the physical surroundings reflect the internal struggles that the main characters are dealing with at a pace similar to that of walking a dog.
OK Guess I was in the mood for a long slow moving movie. I found myself actually liking this. I like the direction Clint Eastwood took. Very enjoyable for the open minded. I may watch this movie again at a much much later date.
Interesting story but I expected more from Clint. I love his movies, maybe this one is little bit strange. He is old and this topic is something that comes naturally to him. The point, we are not our body's and our souls live here-after, not up there somewhere but here in the different dimension. 7/10
Let me start off by saying everything ain't for everyone...not everyone will like this film. It film begins with a powerful and exciting tsunami sequence. But most of it is a thoughtful study of the afterlife and what we can know of it. If you are skeptical of this possibility, you will probably have trouble with the film. Matt Damon is terrific (as always) playing a young psychic who regards his powers as more curse than gift. We meet also a young boy in London whose twin brother is killed and a TV journalist in Paris, a woman who undergoes a near death experience. All three stories finally converge in London. Eastwood and the writer wrap up the story with great economy. We see the future love relationship of Damon and the French woman in a single image he has as they meet. If you accept the more thoughtful approach and can slow down a bit, this film has much to offer.
its unlike other movies, its got very sentimental feel throughout and it made me cry and smile. I think it wanted to go more indepth but just ran out of allotted time maybe. Beautiful film, thought provoking and well done. video file not the best but very watchable. Unfortunately i cant read quickand dont understand french but i got the gist i think. ;) [its not all in french by the way just a small part]
Its so difficult to say that although Clint Eastwood has always proved to be an amazing director that I personally am really upset by the hype which was made about this movie and then it is a total let-down. Well, I can only speak for myself but I could have spent 122 minutes in a more productive manner. Everyone must form their own opinion. This is only mine.

I really wanted to see this after I saw the trailer, but I must say I'm somewhat disappointed...
I imagined this to be more dramatic, but the only teary moment for me was the final reading...
3 storylines came together. A woman who had a near death experience, a little boy in search of a loved one who passed away and a psychic who wants out. Stories themselves were quite beautiful, but told together just didn't really do it for me. It took away a certain element which you need for dramatic tales...it lost its spark.
Too bad, this could have been amazing, in the line of Discovery of Heaven.
Watch this if you have 2 hours to spare and some patience...I wont watch this again though.
