I didnt see it but i hope its good im just gonna watch it and see what i might rate and tell you guys if im either gonna stop reading it the first ten minuts or watch it all the way through
didnt think this movie was good at all, it was boring in for atleast half the movie, the acting was terrible, and it wasnt funny... and the romance was so cold, i am very disappointed by the high quality actors. 4/10 and i am being generous.
If you like learning...and seeing drama- How Do You Know is cool
I liked the movie way more than I thought I ever would. I especially liked the main female lead as responsible yet spontaneous in character (and wow what a very attractive woman too). She excepts her suitors as who they are and doesn't try to change them...rather she excepts them even though she might want things a certain way...rare for Hollywood chick flicks. Its a little sad for the ""wanting to please nice guy"" but that is pretty real to life. The jock is funny, like he will only have babes around for 7 years till hes ready to get engaged...obviously its all about being authentic to ones self and respecting the place and timing of sacred other. The story of the dad reminds me of my dad, and a buddies dad too...almost totally socialpathic fu***ks. That too was very realistic as was the insane loyalty to one that harms and negates you continuously...last but not least no guys were hit in the face by a woman in this romantic comedy. In American romantic comedies there is a lot of the male being stuck in the face by a female at her whim for anything from disagreeing with her to noticing other female human beings. There is some horseplay in this movie but nothing as arrestable as face hitting. Weird countries like USA & Thailand both show spousal abuse as totally normal. In US its the illegal hitting of men with little to no physical response, in Thailand its the (unethical) hitting of women in the same way with little to no response. I grew up to respect my partners (women) and feel any unequality of image is a unequality for both. This movie is respectful to the tough game of dating and respecting each others "Ways Of Being", for that it is hopefully a new standard of respect in our movies.
Also a few people have commented about boringness, however its a pretty spot on film about a woman whose completed her hoing around while the jock is going to be hoing around for a much longer time even though he really likes her. The nice guy is finally a potential lover and long term mate when shes ready to settle down otherwise he wouldn't have a chance if she was still "parting". Jack did suck but thats because hes pretty unhealthy and low on vitality. How long has he been fat for now? Like a decade or longer? The vitality or lack there of is lowering his offering of acting excellence.

I am 36 and was fascinated about the unfolding of the life like characters as well. Definitely riveting if you placed your self in one of these situations wanting the cool, fun and pretty girl who is surprisingly balanced and feminine, while also being a normal woman who is a hard worker yet listens to her up and down heart. What guy hasn't been there watching a girl he really really likes talking to another guy who totally wants her and is pinning for her at any moment day or night? Just awesome to see it all go down, and Reese did no gold digging and went for a the deeper, longer lasting satisfaction ~RESPECT~ Ali G reference...yeah, I said it! : D
It is an ok movie, can sometimes seem abit slow but makes up for it with the sudden laughs you'll get out of it. This upload has good video and audio, no issues for me what so ever.. nice job!

Agree with you. Some people don't appreciate movies such as this. Some need something to blow up to keep their attention haha It was a good movie, well written
Scenes dragged out, and I think more work went into decorating the characters apartments then the actual dialog. Owen Wilson had a few good moments. but Jack is on auto-pilot and Reese and Rudd just didn't work. And I am a huge Paul Rudd fan so all in all FAIL
