I like Katherine Heigl movies, but this one was just okay. She did a good job though, for all of you who might not know this was a book. One of a few Stephanie Plum books by Evangovich, I believe? This was just okay.
if you've seen any of katherine heigl films you've seen this one just a slightly different story line but she still gets stripped to her under garments as always Which ppl are talkin bout her criticizing Knocked up but if i was a hot chick i probably wouldnt have enjoyed layin under a chubby sweaty hairy probably smellin like skunk weed Seth Rogan I like Seth movies but i'm just sayin....maybe it wasnt an enjoyable movie making for her......
They should change the name of this POS! to Take the money and run .. as far away from this piece of Dog Shit! as possible.. career ending film - If black women still have to be prostitutes to get in movies - What Fing! time machine did we just step into... CRAP!
ugh..if you like chick flicks then you'll like this...i couldn't stand to watch more than 30 minutes of this crap...the main character is such a wuss...
I'm not much of a Katherine Heigl fan but this movie was surprisingly fun. I've heard of the books but I've never read them, so maybe that helps since I didn't have any expectations. It won't make you think, but it's pleasant and silly and Heigl was actually kind of cute in it. Go figure, Jersey's a pretty good look for her.

Is it really a 9/10 to you? I haven't watched it yet. I was waiting on other peoples comments first,because I really don't care for Katherine Heigle since she cut down the one movie that made her famous. Then,every other movie she did after that was crappy and basically the same kind of stories. Knocked up was a great/hilarious film...I can't believe she regretted doing that film(which made her famous after Grey's Anatomy). Now, I will say I liked "The Ugly Truth",but that's because Gerard Butler made that movie watchable. If he didn't do it,it probably would've been crappy. I guess i'll give this one a try since there are a lot of positive comments on it...sorry for the long reply! ;)
So much wasted potential. With a better script and a different Stephanie, this could have started a great franchise. Can't see any studio green lighting the second book. Too bad. Heigl bombs again.
I agree, they could have picked a better Stephanie then horrible Katherine Heigle...She's such a B. in real life anyway and always does the same crappy roles!
it is 3:00 pm in nc & about 5 mins ago i watched an upload of the movie. it was amazing quality just it had a different language.....then i come back to it now & its taken down. no links up
I have seen all Katherine Heigle films and the only one I enjoyed was,"Knocked Up"...The one movie that she criticized,but yet to critics and viewers like us was her break out role! If she didn't get that role,she wouldn't be offered the same old crappy roles that she has been getting from time to time. She should at least be grateful to the people who got her jump start career in "knocked Up" instead of bashing them. What an ungrateful C**T! I haven't watched this one yet...still debating. Let me know if its worth 2 hrs. of my life please..:)
