this one dragged for me a bit because al pacino started to wear on me after a while because he in almost every frame, talking nine to the dozen.. got bored of his delivery after a while.. his accent sounded wrong or something.. i prefer his normal accent. i just felt somewhat indifferent to the actors because they just wernt very nice people basically.. so was not so nice having to watch them make conversation for two hours.. not insufferable.. just wearing.. for me anyway.. other than that well made and all that..
Al Pacino absolutely made this movie! Even though initially it seems the political bent of this movie is heavily slanted, it flat out doesn't matter because the plot was so excellent and Al Pacino was so good. This movie is definitely making a pretty heavy statement about Hollywood and politics in general that surpasses the political milieu set in this movie. Ultimately, this is a movie that gets you thinking about the general corruption that runs through our modern life. Have to recommend this one! 10/10
