Sad to say, people who make comments using swear words or racial aspersions do not realise that they are displaying their ignorance to millions of users. I found this film fascinating, entertaining and for almost 2 hours I forgot about global warming, piracy on the internet, doubtful politics, terrorists, or what my wife was doing with my neighbour. :-) Thanks for the film.
great movie!!! u would have to understand imagination and uniqueness to enjoy this piece...they were intentionally being corny oppose to USA's traditional cool hero bit...
India has developed a top notch film industry so I'm anxious to check this one out. Sometimes I feel culturally out of the loop watching their films but that's to be expected, I'm American. Overall, I find that Indian films are not only of good quality but made with a certain joy & enthusiasm lacking in many Hollywood films.
Isnt it funny that all Indian people love any movies that come from India or Bollywood and if your British or European and you decide you don't really like for whatever reason the Indians jump on you and say your racist or ignorant why can't it be that we just didn't like the movie for a reason perhaps like I dont like monster movies. Why does race or origin even have to come into it
i agree with what ur saying that everyone has their own reasons to like a movie and not... but please dont generalize the Indian people......
i was the one who said the racist comment because of some people specifically categorizing and taking pot shots at indians..........please read the comments...

well it is for the SFX tht it was made and not for anything else .... to show tht bollywood is more than dance and songs..... pls give credit where its due...
and u have ur own opinion and i respect it but pls i have seen a grade mallu movies with overweight mamooty and mohanlal and they are superb actors but are wasted when they are made to love a 18 yr old fat grl.......and pls have u seen the action scenes of any rajni movie or any mallu movie..... anyway ur opinion is urs and thats wht matters...
NEVER CARED MUCH FOR OR WATCHED A FULL HINDI MOVIE BUT I REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE THE SFX WERE TOP NOTCH AND THE ACTING AND SCRIPT WERE BOTH WELL DONE. A WINNER FOR THE HINDI FILM INDUSTRY!
Sensational movie cause i love Shahrukh Khan!!! if you dont know him then you better know him!!! Khan played in DEVDAS!!!!! i love him and he is a good actor anyway, im sure most people who like Shahrukh Khan would agree with me..i give this pic a 10!!! and Kareena Kapoor gets prettier and prettier every year!!! love her too!!!!

For Americans and Europeans who don't understand Indian culture it would be disappointing. People should watch it with much more open mindedness. It is a pity that people show their own ignorance with their comments.
I would suggest if you could watch it with an Indian friend who can give you some insights and some comments as to why, then you will perhaps understand the jokes much better. It helped for me ;)
people usually dont care for things they dont understand tht is y racism exist...fighting ignorance is like fighting ra.1 with out the aid of Krishna...lol...way ova their heads!!!
It is an Indian movie so not everyone would like it.... but yes Bollywood has come a long way and the tech used in this movie proves it....
story line could have been better.. but SRK is good in it.....
and pls racist ppl are ignored automatically...so comment as much as u want u wont change the facts that all Hollywood stars r now desperate to get work from the indian film industry :P :P

this movie is very good...i dont know what crap you guys are talking about but the movie is very nice with lot of effect, good story line and lot of stun....sharukh khan ruck...nice movie 10/10
yes grave. i misinterpreted. first i took it as though he was referring to my opinion. i since realised that he was referring to how the other guy used the word crap. my apologies to radzudaya and i deleted my reply. oops!
I haven't watched this yet. I do believe Skaid you are being very rude to radzudaya we all have our own opinions about movies. If you do not like what he said the nice thing to do is not say anything at all instead of acting rude.
The movie is actually very entertaining. Special effects are exquisite and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and applaud the makers as well as actors.
Next time chitown007, take the time to get further in. I do not know why you turned it off after 10 minutes, it was well worth the 2 1/2 hours of watching to me.
