This movie was defenitely worth watching. The main character was outstanding. In response to other comments, he was doing those things to her because he was psychotic and demented.
I find myself digging deeper into the zmovie treasure trove to find something good and I have to say that this movie is absolutely fantastic. Definitely the best film I've seen in quite a while and way better than the bs coming out of Hollywood these days.
I really enjoyed this movie. I must be getting older because my taste is totally changing. As long as you get by reading the subtitles you will like it. The movie is good enough where the subtitles don't really matter,
I didn't look at the bad scene either. The protagonist here has a certain evil genius. This is a very unique movie. I think the ending could of been slightly better but the whole movie is worth it -- the point is very clear: He is very thorough in what he does.
The suspense could only be compared to the level in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) Red hot suspense. great acting. I cannot watch gore and there was one nasty scene I had to not look at at ALL.. but apart from that was excellent. It has subtitles, but is such a great film. European films are often so much better than the american alternatives. Very subtle acting.. Brilliant. Very well worth a watch.
