Martin was a normal teenage boy before the country collapsed in an empty pit of economic and political disaster. A vampire epidemic has swept across what is left of the nation's abandoned towns and cities, and it's up to Mister, a death dealing, rogue vampire hunter, to get Martin safely north to Canada, the continent's New Eden.
i really liked the movie. the ending was kind of... blaaah... they never explain why the dude hates vamps so much... or what happened to them after they reach New Eden... it kind of remind me of all those other movies where this old guy bonds with this young guy and becomes like a father to the young guy and when the young guy is "skilled enough" or is "ready", the old guy just leaves... a little bit on the predictable side. maybe i should just make up my own story answering what the actual movie did not. i still really liked the movie. 8.5/10
This is a really good horror/action movie, and i read some comments here that some didnt like the ending!! I assume those commentators were americans :) who live in a dream world with cinderellas and unicorns :) :) haha, but me i loved this ending, where there is no happy "ending" just a happy "continuation" of life as it revolves and evolves. i rate this a 9.5/10 i loved it.
What's wrong w/people wanting to see a bleak movie having a nice/happy ending.Don't assume things you have no clues about b/c all that does is shows exactly how pea brained & ignorant you really are
An ok movie good acting bit short on dialog realistic struggle to get to the promised land if anything the ending was`nt very good thought he`d have to at least stake the Mr but I was wrong nothing new there 6/10.
I enjoyed this movie, and it definately kept me tense throughout it, as the lives of the characters are in constant question considering they live in a world having to deal with savage vampires and religious lunatics. However, it still had something missing for me. The acting was great, and I did like that this movie was realistic and it wasn't a "happy" ending for everyone, but still it was missing that OMG THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING factor. So it was good, but not as good as it could have been.

I felt the end wasn't as strong as the rest of the movie was. I think there are so many unanswered questions. Such as, what happens to Martin and Peggy? they made it to Eden but what is Eden? is it safe? is it over taken by vampires or cannibals as mentioned earlier in the movie? what happened to Mister? did he make it Eden? and just a lot of open possibilities, and if a part 2 is going to be made continuing the storyline than by all means this ending would be fine, but if not it just leaves a hole, and I want to know more.
Pretty alright movie, but like everyone said; the ending stunk. Who's to know if New Eden was a good place to be? *Spoiler Alert* I predicted the guy was going to leave the kid with the girl, so I expected that. Worth watching at least once.
Oh, I like this one alot! It is so much worth the watch as it has alot of action, gore and some heart warming scenes. It will surprise you as it did me.
I had such high hopes for this film and it seemed to disappoint on all fronts. Imagine a post-apocalyptic road movie with vampires, with none of the fun that comes with vampires
an extreemly involving movie, the characters you cn relly feel for and the feeling of desperation, survival and the breakdown of society are created so well, hollywood would have just made it glossy, but this was both disturbing and for the few moments of happiness these poor souls found, you really felt for their joy, pain and fight for survival! a very underrated movie.
Very surprised! This horror movie was not bad at all! bit miffed about the ending, would have liked to of seen how they would be living a better/safer life and I really didn't want the pregnant girl to die! Lol... 7/10! This movie is so worth a watch! Thanks for the upload zmovie....xoxo
enjoyed this one, and like other posters here, im suprised it wasnt released on the big screen. the only negative for me was the end was left a bit "too" open, almost seemed like the movie wasnt finished, then again maybe that was the point.
How did this one slip through, a really good vampire movie kind of in the vein of The Road.....really thought this was going to be B grade but it was excellent!
Totally unexpected... im surprised this one didnt hit theatres... for a horror movie it has alot of emotion, great acting, great plot... unexpected events and a sad yet good ending at the same time... definately worth the watch... dont pass over this one... you wont be dissappointed... 10 / 10 from me
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie, it was actually quite good I wasnt too keen on the end though it left me with unanswered questions, but definitely worth a watch 4/5
