hammer horror returns,,, but in name only! this is an entertaining but standard psycho thriller which was made by the new hammer studios, lacking any of its trademark style (apart from a guest appearance by a frail looking christopher lee) the studio has yet to regain its unique blend that made it a brand name of horror in the later 20th century.
I was really into this movie at the beginning because Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are pretty decent actors, and the story was somewhat intriguing, but it was very anti-climatic. The ending could have been so much better. What is it with movies these days having poor anti-climatic endings? Or maybe it's just me. It just seems like these directors have an interesting concept but they don't know how to pull it all together in the end.

wow, Hillary always pulls it off. Great movie, great acting, and i did like the story line (maybe could have had a stronger ending) All in all its a great movie 4/5 Def Worth watching
I would love to give my Review-Opinion about the movie however: is there a spoiler button here? I belonged to another site that looked just like this one but the FBI took that one down. At the other site we could hide our *spoiler* about the movie so we didn't ruin for others in case they haven't seen the movie yet and they're reading the comments to decide if they want to or not... I'll check back to see if anyone knows the answer... thanx all =0)

Not bad at all. I xpected more suspense but it pretty much showed who the bad guy was in the beginning. The ending was lacking but it'll do. Hillary Swank's performance was pretty good and the landlord(father of the dean brothers in Supernatural) was surprisingly very good. He played a role not like his usual stuff....watch and see for yourself.
I was really looking forward to this movie when i saw a trailer for it last year, it was pretty good i just think they could have done a lot more with it, the trailer was more scarier than the actual film but dont be put off by that comment coz its still a good watch 3.5/5
