I will admit when I seen they had the guy that played harry potter as the main character, I was really reluctant on going to see this movie. But, it actually turned out to be a fairly good film, it had a fairly good storyline and plot. This movie actually got a few jumpy scares out my fiance' when she and I seen it in the theater.
I love movies like this. Not over the top and the setting was very nice. Radcliff did an awsome job. So nice to see him doing other kinds of movies. If you're looking for scary then don't bother. But if you're looking for old fashion creepy type movie then watch this.
It was alright made me jump a few x's...ok ghost story...didn't look like potter on cover so was surprised to see him in It...he sure has grown up............7/10
not to bad a flick. reminds of the old school ghost story. i thought the acting was decent, mr.radcliff has changed quite abit from his harry potter days, its easy to get around that fact and focus on his charactor. nothing special, but worth a one time watch.
Great movie, story(again not that original...but I don't think there are very many completely original movies any more. So, many movies have been made and I am a fan of this genre that I have seen so many...just so hard to come up w/ something original). Great script, acting, cinematography... 5/5 Over all this is actually the 2nd time I saw this and I still like it...
if you like ghost thrillers then this one is for you. i enjoyed it myself especially that part where he walks down that area where that thing happens...haha just watch it
This movie was very twisted,I Loved it. Sound was rumbled but it gives you goose bumps the whole time this is a must see movie! Have not seen one so scary since I was a small boy!
not really a scary movie.. I'm really not afraid of ghosts. About the ending, I must have seen something similar in the past.. or just a deja vu.. 6/10
omg...this was the best scary/horror movie ive seen in awhile !!!! I screamed like 5 times...omg..no comments thus far seems odd for such a GREAT REAL SCARY MOVIE !!!! ahhhhhhhhhh
Definitely good if you like ghosts stories. Not for sensitive hearts - you will bump every 5 minutes in average. Story line seen and seen again, but good one for Mister Potter. I believe he acts better here than in the saga... Love the ending. 6.5/10
It definitely has a classic horror feel to it. It is not action packed, and it takes time for the story to unfold. I liked it that way. It gave a good buildup for the end. 3.5/5
what a great film, if you understand about Hammer and their 1960s style of horror you will totally get this film, this atmospheric old fashion style of movie was a fantastic nostalgic trip down memory lane. 10 out of 10, they just don't make them like that any more
I thought it was 3.5 even 4 weren't no gore fest cheep o thing, it was a good ghost story.if you like cheep nasty no story c r a p same old gore fests an ant got the concentration for a story an plot then you know wat kind of film this is,watch sumin different u will like wid cheep thrills.save ur fingers from typing an your self from whinging, am no film critic if i was id be getting paid plenty for watching movies but if i listen to some...it was crap... disappointing...not worth watching... total wan-k..... it puts you of watching an missing some good films??happens to me
I liked it. I enjoyed the first one; however, I felt they could have put more into this one. It was an okay watch though, not horribly bad. This was def not a super horror though. I gave it a 3/5 , but come on...not like we have a ton of great watches out there right now anyways.
It took everything in my power not to go to sleep on this here movie. Sad. It starts off slow, and it gets a little better, but it was kind of dull. The only reason I wanted to watch it because of Harry Potter. (#TeamH.P) other than that. It sucked. I'd give it a 3.5
I must say after hearing people say this movie wasn't good, I didn't have many expectations but I must say I did rather like it. It's more of ghost story and not the blood/gore type of horror. 3.5/5
Not great quality and a slow 50 min start, with minor scares... gets alot more interesting and more creepy after, just a shame ur more than likely be a sleep by then. 3.5 / 5 Maybe u should just watch the end? The .5 is for the dog he was cool.
AWE,MAN,,,What a disappointment to hear! I was counting on this one because the trailer made it look so good! Now, after reading all these comments I don't even want to waste my time. Was it at least a little interesting? Was the ending good? I like movies with surprise endings like the sixth sense,ya know? Oh well, I'll wait till it comes out on HBO I guess:/
