I really thaught Colin did really well in this movie, I did'nt think I would enjoyed it because I would'nt be able to seperate from the original, but it was worth it, great action and good cast...4/5
At first,I wasn't too sure about Colin Farrell playing the lead but after I started watching it & seperated it from the original in my mind I had zero problem seeing that this new Total Recall is a nice rethinking & deserves not to be compared to the one w/Schwarzenegger.I enjoyed this Total Recall & can give it a nice rating of 7/10 w/no problem.
this was an alright watch.. Don't listen to these goofballs who are raging over their favorite Total Recall. They wanna see the old one, i am sure they can find the link on here.
I thought this movie sucked. the original one was a million times better. this one didn't even make sense and it was totally humourless! lol going through the centre of the earth! wtf. stupid! mars was cool. and would have been brilliant if they simply updated special fx. there was no need to butcher the story. kate beckinsale got way too much screen time instead of using her character effectively the way sharon stone was. seeing as she's banging the director you can understand why. I suppose!
not bad. special effects are very good. lots of great ideas for the future. the refridgerator was very cool. the cars that are magnitized are a nice touch. the action is very tight especially the zero gravity scene. colin does a good job as always.
BUT
having seen the original in the theater and loving that movie it is very hard to love this movie on it's own without comparing it especialy since it is so identical(excepty for a few minor differences). the original was not as serious but it was damn funny (Ronny Cox especially as cohegan). and though it's action sequences were not as tight as this movie i can't in all honesty give this movie a better grade. because it is a redo of a now classic sci-fi HARD R action adventure.
what a shitty movie untalented money grabbing evil cunts. Aside from the whole story being shit manage to ruin the original movie what a waist. If they would have remade the original exactly like it was just with added modern cgi it would have been 100x better
Looks like a decent film, the first one seems better but this copy is not that good so I didnt watch through. On a side note, looking at Galax so called "avatar" made me giggle, god so nasty
Its watchable but considering the SFX etc available today i was disapointed. I did find the original film more gripping. All seemed a bit cheap to me as i thought the effects and gadgets were better in the original. However i would say if you havent seen the original you will probably realy enjoy it. :)
Thanks for the upload, but the was a real disappointment. I don't understand the need make a remake for an awesome movie, remake a disappointment that had potential. This could have been an entirely different movie and been ok but saying its the total recall remake really brought it down. 5-6/10 For me Colin didn't really have a strong presence in the film Beckinsale was ok, but you want them to out play Arnold and Stone? I just don't like the remake it would have made more sense to make a prequel maybe.
Never watched the original but best is Colin Farrell and Jessica Beil. Good actors. Kate Bekinsale completely killed this movie, terrible acting and see waaaayyyy tooo much of her following Farrell around with that annoying accent and stupid scowel. The script is too predictible. Couldnt help thinking of Vanilla Sky and Bourne. Farrell should get a better script than this.

I watched it on Vidreel. The taping was pretty good. There were a few people who walked in front of the screen at one point but overal it was a great copy. He may not have had the entire screen but the voice was sync'ed and everything. The movie itself was pretty good too. Although they did put a lot of the good parts in the commercials they made up for it. Overall 9/10
Entertaining Remake, nicely done. Definately worth a watch. As for the copy - Blurry with people running in front of the camera all the time, sound is alright for a screener.
