This was bad , and I mean bad(not good) .Ving Rhames should have stopped at DAWN OF THE DEAD(great zombie flick).Anyone who thought this was good should re-evaluate his or her thought process.Cant wait for WORLD WAR Z!
I hated seeing Henry die at the end, he should have been with that girl. The script is exactly the same as the tv program 'The Walking Dead' but with more interesting characters. The zombies are evolving with each new film, they are faster and some even look like they might be starting to think and organise themselves he,he!!!!!!!!!!!! and wow even animal zombies now...I watched on supermov, the quality picture and sound was good.
the zombies were cool and ugly and lots of action. a sort of sad ending though. i rate this one of the better zombie movies ive seen, and i have seen most of them.
its not at all like saying that ,firefly and serenity are awesome, certainly better than episode 1,2,3 also pity firefly got cancelled . if zombie apocalype was directed or even the brainchild of Joss whedon it would have probably been good, but it wasnt ergo an epic fail.
This film is dreadful!!!! the stop motion special effects were better in the original sinbad film than in this. i would rather be afflicted with syphallis than watch this film again. i think i'll stick to watching the walking dead
one of the best zombies movies I've watched. For the first time slow walking dead and very fast ones together. great to watch at halloween night :) 8/10
I was happily surprised by this Asylum production, but a bit disappointed in the less than starring presence of Ving Rhames. I expected him to have a larger presence in the TV movie. I think what pulled the production through this script was what I suspect to be the talent of the actors. It was nice to see some character as opposed to the usual stiffly acted newbie filled casts we sometimes see. For a Syfy channel movie, Zombie Apocalypse was not bad at all. It was good, slow, methodical TV popcorn fun... 7/10
